Scott White has learned his craft and understanding of color through his career as a master printer and his informal education from online courses and paint alongs. He credits DVDs by Johannes Vloothuis, Don Demers, Brian Keeler, Ian Roberts, and Sharon Sprung for their technical guidance and inspiration. Scott now lives in Maine after summering by the ocean for many years. He draws on the wonderful habitats of New England to create his favorite landscapes and seascapes.

The green of that wave is so mysterious against the bluer waves in the distance. I also like how you have included the rocks in the foreground, creating a very modern composition of successive horizontal bands up the canvas :)
